Under-7s prove too strong for Under-6s

A big thank you to everyone who played in this historic friendly - the Under-6s' first ever game and the Under-7s' first ever win. Especially to George.

With a few early goals, the Under-7s took control. But the under-6s kept going all the way with some good tackles in midfield and defence.

Cameron and Jason were battling hard in the midfield, with Miles coming out of the back and pushing on to make an extra player in attack.

Brandon, the Under- 6 goalkeeper, made some good saves from Jason and Cameron.

In the second half, another couple of early goals from Jason and Cameron settled the team down, and there were a few good passing moves to open up under-6s' defence.

But the Under-7s were caught out by a quick free kick and Samuel ran on to score the Under-6s' first goal. Well done Samuel.

A fine shot from Jason hit the bar and Aiden was there to tuck it away!
